Jaani Väisänen

Jaani Väisänen is a M.Sc. in Statistics and has a PhD in Knowledge management. His research interests revolve around utlizing data and analytics in commercialation of innovations. He is currently working as a senior lecturer in Digital Business Management area at LAB University of Applied Science in Lappeenranta, Finland. He is also responsible for LABs experimental ecosystem for innovations, comprising a wide variety of different testing facilities ranging from user experience research in human-computer interaction to circular economy laboratories and health sector testbed ecosystems. Jaani is very eager to help new up-and-coming AI-focused startups to focus their business vision as well as help them define their value propositions, acquire funding opportunities, and connect their needs with the correct personnel and facilities at LAB UAS.
