The Organisation is focusing on research related to flexible / reconfigurable manufactuirng systems. Special emphasis is given to the safety aspects of frequently reconfigures production systems wich almost always include robotic applications. Morover CDP has developmet a SW framework allowing an SME-friendly apporach for the orchestration of flexible manufacruing cells and runs several demonstrators in the Pilotfabrik Industrie 4.0 of TU Wien.
