María del Mar Plaza

María del Mar Plaza has a Degree in Industrial Technologies Engineering (2019), with a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering (2021), both from the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV). Her Master’s thesis focused on the development of innovative applications of IoT systems and robot control interoperability in industrial environments to improve safety in human-robot interactions and enhance resource efficiency.

She is currently a Senior Technician in the R&D line of Cyber-Physical Systems at the ‘Instituto de Automática e Informática Industrial (Ai2)’ of the UPV. She has worked on the development of applications with AMRs and collaborative robots using ROS, along with several embedded systems programming in Python. He also develops applications for industry and IoT using communication protocols such as MQTT and OPC UA.
